Epsilon Security Levels

We offer you, as an option, to strengthen the access security to your company's Epsilon account.

 

The objective is to guard against fraudulent access (by people who do not or no longer work in the company) to the data and products to which the company has subscribed (EMAT database, CRM Suite, etc.).

 

For this, we use the users' IP addresses. When logging into the Epsilon platform, the system detects if the IP is not registered: it then notifies the user and can request validation of this new IP by email.

 

Three levels of security can be activated by Epsilon, on simple request:

  • Level 1 - In case of unregistered IP, simple alert on the user's email. The IP is saved for future connections and it is possible to qualify it ('Office', Home', etc.)
  • Level 2 - In case of unregistered IP, an email is automatically sent to the user to ask him to validate this IP. The IP is then recorded as validated and access to the Epsilon platform is unlocked.
  • Level 3 - A validation email is sent not to the user, but to the administrator of the company account.
  • Level 4 - A validation email is sent for Epsilon team to validate (within 1 hour)

 

It is appropriate for the company to arbitrate between the level of security and the ease of use - in particular for people who regularly use the Epsilon platform outside the office, especially when traveling.

 

NB: we use professional emails for validation and not mobile phones, because people leaving a company lose the use of their email, but more rarely their mobile.
